The Atlantic Wall (Bunker) Museum
Introduction
The Atlantic Wall Bunker Museum is a treat. This museum is located in a 17 meter high bunker and was the control fire casemate for the Atlantic Wall in this sector. It graphically revives the atmosphere of the fighting through rooms containing original material. On the fifth floor, one can look across the Estuary through a German rangefinder – also on display is a one-ton German flying bomb, the like of which caused considerable damage in London during the Blitz and a good example of an 88 millimetre "flak" gun.
